Music has always been a huge part of Patricia's life. Originally inspired by the diverse sounds of artists such Portishead, Mogwai and Mew, her worldly travels soon introduced her to the sultry world of house music. Embracing her new sound under the watchful eye of ex Channel V presenter and KL club scene regular Joey G, Patricia K has already begun to breathe fresh air and make big waves in the incredibly competitive Malaysian nightlife
scene.
Championing her favorite soulful funky house sound, Patricia K lists Joey Negro, Grant Nelson and Dennis Ferrer amongst her influences to name a few.
After a string of successful sets at respected venues such as The Social, Bedroom KL, the super-glam Skybar, 7atenine, Bentley, Christian Dior. etc, as well as warming up for international renowned DJ's such as Carl Kennedy, DJ Kelly Marie, DJ Keli Hart, DJ Charlotte Narni, DJ Kellie Acreman and DJ Sam Cooke. Patricia K's sets have been described as 'fun, sexy and upbeat' – much like the girl herself. After her 3rd event (she deejayed for Carlsberg) - they chose her to play for 18 events in a row for their international 'DJ activation' throughout 2 months of 3 events a week all around Malaysia.
Now gaining a respected reputation for her own unique sound and spinning style, you can expect Patricia K to get toes tapping and heads turning at venues all over Asia in the years to come.
After hosting a couple events, Patricia just started to get the feel of talking in front of a crowd which then went on to being in front of a camera. She was called in for an audition for ESPN's Castrol Football Crazy, and having heard to have been picked out of 3000 from around the Asian region, Patricia became the third and only girl hostess, along side Adam C and JD (whom both work with radio as well, Adam for HITZ fm and JD for MIX fm). Since ESPN is regional, Patricia slowly started to get more and more fan followers whom tuned in every thursday 8pm, to watch her and her two co-host share their football enthusiasm with fans all over Asia.
