A laugh a minute is what you'll get, on or off stage, when you are with the incomparable and irrecusably hilarious Dee. Six-foot-two with a head full of Shirley Temple locks, he not only stands-out in a crowd but also stands tall amongst Malaysia's prized entertainers (forgive the pun!).
He began his colourful journey into the amusing world of entertainment circa 1983 when he became a member of Howard Tay's exclusive "Hall of Fame". Performing as famous divas in panorama of costumes, dance and music. Dee captured the hearts of audiences all over the country.
His ability to transform into multitude of flamboyant characters earned him the title of a TV star when the series "Jangan Ketawa" became a hit in 1992. Millions were glued to their TV sets every week to catch Dee, Moon, Shan, Robert, Robin, Danny, Rama and (the late) Rambo Chin for the next two years as the series was aired on TV3 season after season.
As a result, Dee and his fellow comedians performed extensively, either individually or collectively, at corporate functions, product launches and concert venues throughout Malaysia. "Jangan Ketawa" became the most successful local comedy series and has since been aired in Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Australia.
