Comedy Court's enormous success as purveyors of high-voltage humor stems largely from the fact that they consistently hit the nail on the head without actually hurting anyone's feelings.
Down-home and matter of fact about the typical Malaysian characters they parody, Allan Pereira and Indi Nadarajah's generosity of spirit and kindness of heart place them in the same noble tradition as our national cartoonist laureate, Dato' Lat, who has an uncanny knack of making people laugh at themselves without feeling too malu (socially disgraced, embarrassed).
